Thailand. Thailand is a country like no other, offering a unique and

Thailand is located in South East Asia and has something
to offer everyone, whether you' re here for its rich culture, tropical
beaches or exotic nightlife, Thailand really does have it all.
Thailand's history is characterised by its independence,
hence its modern name meaning the " Land of the Free". Previously known as
Siam to foreigner until 1939 when it adopted the official name of the
Kingdom.
Thailand covers an area of 517,000 sqkm, which roughly
equates to the size of France. Bordering Myanmar (Burma), Laos, Cambodia and
Malaysia. The Population is around 65 million of which 12 million are based
in and around Bangkok, the capital. The earliest inhabitants originated from
parts of South China and migrated to Thailand from many areas of Asia in and
around the 10th century. Today Thailand's population is very diverse, a mix
of the people that surround the country. Around 75% are ethnic Thais 15%
Chinese and the rest a mix of Malays, Khmers, Vietnamese and Laotioans.
