Supanburi & Rural Experience Tour
This is a new tour to experience typical Thai rural
life in Suphanburi, a town 110 km from Bangkok, once farm land with a
hidden beautiful Thai culture. The tour will bring you to the Don Chedi
monument, built in the Ayuthaya period around 350 years ago to mark the
occasion of the great victory of King Naresuan over the Burmese in the
honorable elephant combat. A visit to the famous Wat Baan Krang with a
farmers market before boarding a motor launch along the Suphan River to
view the real rural way of life for the people of this region. A short
stop is made at beautiful Chinese temple before lunch which will be
served in a large and incredibly beautiful Thai style teak wood house.
After lunch, you will be treated to a buffalo village show to get a true
impression of Thai farmer's lifestyle. Witness how buffalo are trained
and used by the farmer , buffalo riding is also a must to try, plus
watch the superb performances of Thai folk dances in a style seldom seen
in other areas. Before returning to Bangkok you will also have the
opportunity to shop for brand name merchandise such as sportswear,
luggage and clothing in one of the nearby local factory outlets.
