Day 1 Bangkok/Chiang Mai/Mae Hong Sorn - Early
morning one hour flight to Chiang Mai. Depart by road north through
spectacular jungle-clad mountain scenery to Mae Hong Sorn. En route
visit and orchid and butterfly farm at Mae Rim and a beautiful
mountainside Fish Cave (approximately 167 miles).

Day 2 Mae Hong Sorn - A full day which begins
with an unforgettable elephant ride through the jungle. Continue further
into the countryside by pick-up truck to the Long Neck Karens, one of
the most colourful hill tribe villages. The woman wear numerous brass
coils around their neck and legs, which are considered beautiful and a
sign of wealth. Return by long tailed speedboat alone the River Pai

Day 3 Mae Hong Sorn/Chiang Mai - Following an
early morning visit to the local market, visit the lakeside Wat Jong
Klang temple complex and the mountain top temple of Wat Phra Tai Doi
Kongmoo where there is a breathetaking view over the mountains and town.
Afternoon 35 mins flight to Chiang Mai where, in the evening, there is a
traditional North Thaiand Kantoke dinner and folk dance to enjoy
(approximately 156 miles).

Day 4 Chaing Mai - A full day to explore,
including the sacred Wat Phra That Temple at Doi Suthep. In the
afternoon, there is an opportunity to watch local craftsmen at work as
your tour Chiang Mai's thriving cottage industries.

Day 5 Chiang Mai/Goldern Triangle - Drive
north to Chiang Rai, through splendid mountain scenery and tropical
jungle, stopping at Mae Ka Chan a locally renowned hot spring. After
lunch in Chiang Rai continue by pick-up truck to the mountains of Doi
Mae Salong to visit a remote Chinese settlement. Stops are also included
at Akha and Yao hill tribe villages (approximately 158 miles).

Day 6 Golden Triangle - Visit Mae Sai, a
fascinating trading post. Stop in the ruins of the 13th Century city of
Chaing Saen before continuing to the heart of the Golden Triangle.

Day 7 Golden Triangle/Bangkok - Return one
hour flight to Bangkok
